WILLIAM HILL NAMED ‘BEST IN CLASS’ AT THE 2012 BETVIEW AWARDS

The UK’s leading bookmaker, William Hill, were this week honoured at the industry’s Betview Awards when crowned Bookmaker of the Year as well as taking the category of ‘Chain of the Year’.

William Hill were awarded the prestigious title of ‘Bookmaker of the Year’. The judging panel awarded this title to the bookmaker who has demonstrated all-round excellence as the industry’s best of the best. William Hill also won the category of ‘Chain of the Year’, given to the bookmaker with 20 outlets or more which operates with excellence whilst also enhancing the customers’ betting experience and making a positive contribution to staff and the industry as a whole.

Industry professionals attended the awards ceremony, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane to celebrate the tradition and excellence of the industry and reward the exemplary achievement put forth by their peers.
